Senior Food Regulatory Expert

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Food Regulatory Manager to lead our regulatory intelligence on domestic and export food labelling regulations across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of similarities and dissimilarities between national and international food laws regarding additives, ingredients, nutrition information, metrology nuances, front of pack labelling , advertising claims.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead regulatory intelligence on domestic and export food labelling regulations across multiple markets.
  • Monitor, analyse and interpret global regulatory updates and translate them into actionable implications for food businesses.

This role requires collaboration with product, technology, and client teams to strengthen digital regulatory solutions.

The successful candidate will support the digitisation of regulatory frameworks into our SaaS platform and provide thought leadership in nutraceuticals, health supplements, and functional foods.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in food science, nutrition, or regulatory affairs, with a focus on international food export regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of labelling standards, claims regulations, and compliance requirements in key global markets.
  • Proven ability to track and analyse regulatory changes, advisories, and amendments.
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals and health supplement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with industry, clients, and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support digitisation of regulatory processes.
  • Industry understanding of trade policies, export compliance challenges, and regulatory impact on food businesses.
