Job Title: Microbiology Specialist

This role involves providing expert microbiological support to the development of new products across various categories, including personal care and surface care brands. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards and a strong understanding of subject matter to provide expert advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects.
  • Independently plan and conduct experiments to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of prototype formulations and finished products.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement of R&D laboratory procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain lab records in compliance with Microbiology Laboratory and Global Quality standards.
  • Liaise with external laboratories in a professional and productive manner.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of subject matter to provide expert advice.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the global team members.
  • Hunger to learn and be a self-starter.
  • Hands-on experience of conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards like EN, ASTM, and ISO.
