Job Title: Microbiological Specialist

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Microbiological Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing environmental monitoring of classified areas to ensure aseptic conditions.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in sampling and testing of purified water and raw water, including microbial limit tests, BET, and sterility testing.
• This role involves supporting cleaning validation by performing swab/rinse microbiological analysis and preparing protocols.
• You will conduct microbiological validation studies, such as filter integrity testing and media fills for aseptic processes.
• Additionally, you will participate in qualification of controlled areas, equipment, and utilities, and maintain accurate microbiological records.
• Your responsibilities will also include supporting regulatory inspections, customer audits, and responding to microbiology-related queries.
• You will investigate out-of-specification or out-of-trend results related to microbial samples.
• As a Microbiological Specialist, you will perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Finally, you will conduct microbiological risk assessments of processes and systems, and maintain microbial culture collections.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in the API/Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
