As a senior Linux administrator, your primary role will be to oversee the smooth operation of our Linux infrastructure.


Key responsibilities include:


• LVM concept: Design and implement efficient file systems, ensuring seamless creation, extension, and troubleshooting.


• Multipath concept: Validate and configure multipath configurations, add LUNs, and enable multipath for optimal storage performance.


• Ensure that system performance meets specified requirements.


• Identify and remediate OS vulnerabilities by implementing timely patching strategies.


• Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and OS-related issues.


• Manage log rotation, file system usage, and permissions/ownership effectively.


• Implement changes as per application team and DB team requirements at the OS level.


• Adhere to SLA guidelines, Wirpo processes, and customer expectations while handling BAU tasks.


• Provide expert service management, including NTP, SSH, AUTOFS, and other essential services.


• Troubleshoot server access and bootable issues, including resolving grub problems.


• Conduct thorough OS-level trouble shooting to bring servers up efficiently.


• Bonus points for experience with OS migrations.
