Teach Coding to School Kids

Codingal aims to inspire school kids to love coding. Our platform and community provide high-quality coding education, building apps, games, and websites.

Teachers are vetted and trained with programming background, teaching live 1:1 classes based on a standardized K-12 Computer Science Framework.

This framework makes learning fun & engaging for students, improving logical thinking and problem-solving skills by 70% among young kids.

Coding jobs constitute more than 60% of all jobs in science, technology, engineering, and math, making it essential for schools and traditional education systems to provide the right coding education.

We seek Coding Teachers who believe in this mission and have expertise to teach coding to young school kids.

The role involves:

  • Teaching coding in a fun way to school students via online classes
  • Inspiring students to learn coding at a young age
  • Assessing student progress, evaluating assignments, and giving constructive feedback
  • Being available for at least 135 hours in a month, especially in the evenings on weekdays and longer hours on weekends

To be successful, you must have:

  • Prior experience as a teacher or passion for teaching school students
  • A curious mind and engineering background
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • A laptop with camera & microphone and good internet connection
  • Computer Science degree or coding background
