Job Overview:

We are seeking a legal professional to join our Corporate Counsel team, with a primary focus on real estate and property law. This role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various documents related to property transactions, including leave and license agreements, lease agreements, sale deeds, MOUs, and title documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate and property law, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be responsible for providing legal support for property acquisitions, rentals, and disposals, including due diligence and risk assessment.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain legal records and contract databases for all real estate transactions, conduct legal due diligence of properties, and keep updated with changes in real estate and property law.

Key Requirements:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review various documents related to property transactions
  • Provide legal support for property acquisitions, rentals, and disposals
  • Maintain legal records and contract databases for all real estate transactions
  • Conduct legal due diligence of properties
  • Keep updated with changes in real estate and property law
  • LLB degree with 4–10 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong exposure to real estate, property law, and conveyancing
  • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating leave & license agreements, lease deeds, and sale transactions
  • Working knowledge of RERA, municipal, and development authority regulations
  • Experience handling property registrations, title verification, stamp duty, and due diligence processes
  • Ability to liaise with government authorities and external counsel effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in maintaining legal trackers, records, and documentation
  • Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to contribute to other legal workstreams beyond property/conveyance when required
