Job Summary:

The role of a Project Scheduling Expert is to lead project planning and control functions across multiple projects, ensuring timely execution and effective resource utilization.

Monitoring & Control:

  • Highlight delays and risks: Identify potential delays and risks to management and propose mitigation plans.

Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor planning teams: Guide central planning team members and site-based planners to achieve project goals.
  • Standardize planning processes: Establish standardized planning processes, templates, and best practices across projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and contracts teams: Align project schedules with cash flow, billing, and milestones.

Strategic Planning & Support:

  • Tender planning and resource forecasting: Provide planning inputs for risk management, claim preparation, and project recovery plans.
  • Align project schedules with contractual obligations: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering background: Graduate/postgraduate in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation preferred).
  • Project planning experience: 15+ years of experience in EPC/Infrastructure/Water & Wastewater industry, with expertise in Primavera P6.
  • Leadership and team management: Proven track record of leading planning teams for multi-location, multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Skills:

  • Primavera P6 expertise: Strong skills in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
  • Leadership and communication skills: Effective leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Education and certifications:

  • NICMAR certification: NICMAR certification in project planning/controls preferred.
  • Graduate in Engineering: Graduate degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) required.
