Proofreader Role

Citizens of Bengaluru, are you looking for a career that offers flexibility and the opportunity to grow? In this role as a Proofreader, you will be responsible for reviewing and proofreading audit reports and financial statements for accuracy with regard to verbiage, footing calculations and standard format.

You will play a key role in ensuring that clients receive high-quality documents that meet consistency standards and are error-free. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to handle confidential information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and proofreading attest reports and financial statements
  • Formatting, checking data, and editing for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and tense
  • Collaborating with attest teams to produce customizations and unique modifications
  • Ensuring high-quality documents that meet consistency standards
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm or financial statement experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
  • Knowledge of CaseWare/CaseView, DataSnipper, and other software tools is a plus
