Job Title: Financial Modelling Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models for renewable energy projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global investor and developer company in the renewable energy sector.

You will have the chance to collaborate with various teams, including Development, Project Financing, Finance, EPC, and others to populate assumptions and structure into the financial model used for bidding processes.

In this role, you will also support the development, EPC, and financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and analyze key drivers.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for solar PV and energy storage projects.
  2. Evaluate RFPs to gather relevant information and structure it into the financial model used for bidding processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for the financial model.
  4. Support the development, EPC, and financing teams in running case runs and scenarios.
  5. Assist model auditors with the model audit process as needed.
  6. Support lenders with the financial model during project finance processes.
  7. Maintain ownership of the financial model and provide support to the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  8. Update and maintain financial models pre and post-financial close.
  9. Prepare presentations related to financial analysis.
  10. Train and supervise junior modellers.
Requirements
  1. A business, finance, or accounting degree from a reputable institution.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
  3. At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar/renewable projects.
  4. Hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling.
  5. Ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Recognized university degree - Bachelor or above.

You will be a highly skilled financial modelling expert with a strong background in project finance and renewable energy. You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
