Job Title: Assistant Manager Trade Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager Trade Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing trade marketing plans, improving brand presence, and leading channel-specific marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans that align with sales and marketing objectives.
  • Improve brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking.
  • Lead and implement channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers.
  • Conceptualize and execute trade promotions and roll out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Lead activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility.
  • Visit points of sale regularly to ensure the brand is visible and guidelines are respected.
  • Devise actionable strategies from customer insights.
  • Bring consumer perspective to marketing decision making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Identify ideal methodology and provide oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs.
  • Leverage research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gain internal support to act upon these opportunities.
  • Convey analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in trade marketing is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions and comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
  • Familiar working in matrix environments and adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders.
