Job Title: Plant Operations and Project Management Specialist

Job Description:

As a Plant Operations and Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery and utilities to meet production targets. You will monitor MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) to identify and eliminate bad actors, thereby improving plant reliability and availability.

You will also ensure preventive and predictive maintenance schedules are followed effectively. Additionally, you will plan and oversee equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and utility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and generate project budgets for activities and ensure timely completion.

  • Implement good engineering practices and manage documentation for new installations, changes, or modifications in engineering systems.

  • Identify opportunities for energy-saving initiatives and ensure successful implementation.

  • Drive continuous improvement in utility efficiency and cost savings.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by liaising with statutory authorities and representing the engineering function during audits.

  • Participate in Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR).

  • Prepare and manage engineering budgets including project and operational expenditure.

  • Control and reduce maintenance and project costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Identify training needs and ensure proper training of subordinates in technical and compliance-related areas.

  • Promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
