Engineering Lead for Building Automation and Smart Infrastructure Solutions.

The Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled engineer to lead the development of building management systems (BMS) and smart infrastructure solutions.

About the Job:

  • This is an opportunity to shape the future of smart and sustainable buildings by contributing to state-of-the-art BMS, HVAC controls, and industrial automation initiatives across industries like commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, and pharmaceuticals.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You will be responsible for leading end-to-end engineering of global BMS projects from India Engineering Center.
  • You will review MEP drawings, identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors.
  • You will generate RFIs, initial review sheets, and prepare Bill of Materials.
  • You will design BMS network architecture, select sensors, control valves, actuators, and controllers.
  • You will program supervisory and DDC level controllers; prepare test plans and simulate systems.
  • You will ensure timely and quality delivery of hardware/software packages; handle first-level escalations.
  • You will maintain process adherence and compliance with country-specific standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, Hot Water systems).
  • Hands-on experience in BMS architecture, Operator Workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators.
  • Familiarity with network protocols: BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, etc.
  • Proficient in wiring, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels.
  • Experience in engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC/BMS systems.
  • Industrial Automation (PLC programming/SCADA) experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, quick learning ability, and effective communication skills.
  • Leadership mindset with ability to guide and mentor teams.
