Electronic trading is a complex field that requires a deep understanding of various protocols and technologies. As a Senior FIX Analyst, you will work closely with the global FIX Connectivity team to translate bespoke business workflows into software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • A thorough understanding of the FIX protocol, including version 4.2 and 4.4
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C, and Python
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux-based operating systems and applications
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL queries, specifically Oracle and SQL
  • An in-depth understanding of the FIX certification process
  • Previous experience working in an electronic trading environment, particularly in FIX onboarding or FIX Support
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts
  • Experience with asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, and FX
  • Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members
  • Previous experience with Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work in multiple time zones, including HK/EU/US hours
Desired Skills:
  • Scripting knowledge in Shell or Python
  • Familiarity with Algorithmic Trading
  • Previous experience with OMS/EMS, exchanges, or trading firms would be beneficial
  • Ability to develop tooling and processes to drive efficiencies

A degree in Engineering from a premier institution is highly valued.
