Job Summary
The Senior Network Engineer will design, engineer, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN/WiFi networks for the Corporate Network product. This includes network service and circuit capacity management, project planning and delivery, change planning and run book review, governance of third-party service providers, level 3 escalation support for operational issues and/or outages, collaboration with key teams, and participation in product strategy and planning.

Requirements
Technical Skills
  1. 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.
  2. Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices. Hands-on experience with deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting of platforms like Mist AI, Cisco Wireless, or equivalent.
  3. Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN (Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN experience preferred) including policy configuration, site provisioning, and performance tuning.
  4. Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures (e.g., Cisco LAN Fabric, HP Flex Fabric)
  5. Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast.
  6. Skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools (e.g. Wireshark, Net Brain, Thousand Eyes, ADEM).
  7. Technical knowledge and experience with telco and ISP networks, ensuring diversity and managing availability

Personal Qualities
  1. Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  2. Ability to lead network design and implementation projects independently or as part of a team.
  3. Ability to work non-standard hours during change implementations and service restoration efforts

Additional Requirements
  1. Experience creating or leveraging automation, AI, and machine learning to deploy and manage networks
  2. Development and deployment of virtualized network services
  3. Understanding of cloud networking solutions and cloud interconnects
  4. Vendor experience: Cisco LAN / WAN / WiFi; HPE/Mist WiFi; Palo Alto Networks FW and SDWA NetScout, Thousand Eyes, NetMRI, ServiceNow, Oracle SBCs and VOIP
  5. Exposure to CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) environments to include 14IP, CXOne and others.
