Senior Financial Analyst - Record to Report

This role is responsible for ensuring timely completion of record-to-report functional responsibilities. The successful candidate will maintain a daily log for data processed, pending, and open queries.

The ideal candidate will assist in month-end closing and reporting activities, monitor and track accruals and aging of accruals on a periodic basis, and prepare and submit timely reports related to monthly closing, variance analysis, and audit support.

The senior financial analyst will oversee the vendor and customer reconciliation process and resolve any discrepancies. They will also conduct monthly reviews of indirect expenses and prepaid expenses to ensure accuracy and budget compliance.

Working closely with finance manager and MIS team for monthly reporting deliverables, the senior financial analyst will aid other accounting staff in the annual external audit review process. Perform all deliverables as per established DOAs, contracts, and relevant guidelines/SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of Record to Report functional responsibilities.
  • Maintain a daily log for data processed, pending, and open queries.
  • Assist in Month-end closing and Reporting activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivables or Financial Management roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience in handling a team of at least 6-8 people.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Attention to detail, organized, analyzing information, and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in ERP systems is an asset.
