Linux Infrastructure Automation Specialist

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Linux Automation Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for automating, building, and operating IT hardware and software resources in on-prem, cloud, or hybrid scenarios.

Responsibilities include planning, configuring, and maintaining servers and base operating systems, creating and optimizing virtualized environments, default agents, and providing observability and reliability metrics.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Tekton CI/CD pipelines, and a working knowledge of at least two mainstream Linux distributions.

The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of Kubernetes, Openshift, and server hardware manageability technologies.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of our automation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively growing responsibilities experience in Linux OS Engineering and automation.
  • Strong understanding of at least two mainstream Linux distributions.
  • Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Tekton CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of code testing and test-driven development.
  • Knowledge of server hardware hardware (such as HPE, Dell, SuperMicro) manageability technologies.
