Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough KYC reviews for branches based out of APAC, ensuring effective and timely completion of reviews within the required SLA. This includes but is not limited to, providing support in conducting items listed below as per SOPs which may be amended from time to time.

  • Production of KYC profile to the highest quality standard & in line with the latest policies and procedures. The individual must keep themselves updated on the latest procedural/policy changes across all streams.
  • Obtaining & updating all missing client documentation from the client (with the help of RMs), ability to research and analyze large amounts of data and assess higher risk attributes (geographical, product/service, entity/industry type, transactional, etc.).
  • Coordinating with internal partners such as Front, Middle, and Back Office staff to obtain required information and applicable documentation related to KYC requirements.
  • Following up on client profiles (in line with the latest escalation matrix) & making sure that all levels of signoff are in line with the latest Id matrix.
  • Profiles to be sent for audit (after receiving all information) within standard timelines that have been defined.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Conducting comprehensive KYC reviews for clients across various geographies.
  2. Providing high-quality KYC profiles in line with regulatory requirements.
  3. Ensuring timely completion of reviews within the required SLA.
  4. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation and information.
  5. Maintaining accurate records and reporting on review outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any stream with a certification/diploma in AML/KYC domain being an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in AML Compliance & KYC preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Experience conducting KYC on corporates and other institutions, with a strong understanding of Indian and APAC markets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
