Job Title: Technical Writer



This is a challenging role for a skilled Technical Writer to join ProPMO Services Private Limited and contribute to the creation of high-quality technical documentation for the Aviation industry.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Audit the effectiveness of the technical data program and related processes, ensuring compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and Part 43.

  • Develop and maintain internal maintenance procedures, and audit the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System.

  • Communicate audit findings through verbal and written reports, initiating corrective actions.

  • Ensure key management personnel are informed of potential issues.

  • Utilize company software to manage the technical data program.

  • Track and maintain manuals for personnel and stations.

  • Update manuals status reports for Maintenance and Quality Control departments.

  • Edit and revise internal manuals.

  • Order and track external manuals.

  • Organize and maintain the company library with master manuals.

  • Interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers on product issues and updates.

  • Provide first-level support and resolution to end-user requests within Tech Ops, Quality Control, Maintenance Planning, and Maintenance departments.

  • Layout and edit company-controlled manuals, revisions, and bulletins.

  • Assist operations and maintenance personnel, vendors, and employees with manual distribution.

  • Standardize content across platforms and media.

  • Work with technical staff to simplify products and minimize instructions.

  • Organize and write supporting content for products in accordance with OEM technical data.

  • Ensure compliance levels are accurately documented and reported.



Requirements:





  • Technical writing skills.

  • Engineering degree.

  • Engine MRO experience.

  • Good verbal communication skills.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a technical writer.

  • Understanding of FAA/EASA regulations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Word.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a sense of urgency.

  • A professional image and business acumen, driven to succeed.

  • Strong attention to detail and personal organization.



Preferred Qualifications:





  • 2+ years of experience with CFM56-3, 5B, and -7B.

  • Lean experience.
