Technical Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled technical support professional to fill this position. As a technical support specialist, you will provide high-quality technical support to internal and external users of production systems.

This role involves analyzing and investigating production incidents, understanding the issue within complex applications. You will document incidents and their resolution, ensuring timely resolutions and meeting all SLA's. Furthermore, you will execute root cause analysis (RCA) to identify root causes and final resolutions to production incidents.

In addition, you will attend incident management calls to follow production issues and report status from the IT side. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing on-call rotations, processes, update runbooks, tools, and documentation to prepare teams for future incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in technical support or related areas is required.
  • A strong foundation in application support, infrastructure knowledge, with a software engineering background is necessary.
  • Familiarity with SQL, PLSQL, UNIX scripting, Python, and other technologies is desired.
  • Sound SDLC skills, preferably with experience in an agile environment, are beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface across cross-functional technology teams and business stakeholders, are essential.
