Hiring a skilled and experienced industrial automation professional is key to enhancing our industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of distributed control system (DCS) and programmable logic controller (PLC) programming, including EPKS DCS/PLC.

Primary Skills & Responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion Process Knowledge System (EPKS) for DCS and PLC.
  • In-depth understanding of DCS and PLC architectures, functionalities, and programming logic.
  • Experience in developing and configuring SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with designing and implementing faceplates within DCS/SCADA systems.
  • Ability to perform on-site data collection and system analysis.
  • Experience with simulating industrial processes for testing and validation.
  • Strong understanding and experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus/TCP-IP, Profibus, and OPC.
  • Verification and functional testing of I/Os and their interfaces to field devices.
  • Expertise in partitioning I/O databases for redundancy and fail-safe configurations.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and customer safety and security requirements.
Software Testing Skills
  • Understanding or experience with process control of distributed control systems (DCS).
  • Experience using Microsoft development tools and the Windows OS.
  • Performing system-level software product testing.
  • Working collaboratively with developers, scrum masters, and product owners.
  • Participating in agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement.
  • Designing and executing test cases from a customer perspective.
  • Creating and enhancing test configurations.
  • Discovering, isolating, and documenting product defects.
  • Validating repaired defects/faults.

  • Plant process knowledge.
  • Proficiency with one or more DCS platforms.
  • Knowledge of V-center, Esxi.
  • Basic understanding of Jira and Confluence.
  • Execution of test cases in Xray.
  • Defect logging in Jira.
