Job Role: Area Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage a cluster of properties, overseeing various functions including front office, housekeeping, guest relations, F&B, maintenance & engineering, human resources, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Understanding the company's vision, operational structure, organisational hierarchy, user demographics, etc.
  2. Implementing company-defined standards in all departments, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  3. Overseeing hotel/hostel regional operations, fostering a positive work environment for high overall productivity.
  4. Conducting regular audits to monitor service quality, identifying improvements and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Managing operational budgets by adequate resource allocations and minimising expenses via cost-effective strategies.
  6. Supervising timely hostel pre-launches by ensuring operational readiness and quality checks.
  7. Enhancing guest satisfaction by addressing escalations, implementing service improvements, and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality/hotel management.
  2. Min. 6 years experience in the hospitality industry (with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions).
  3. Proven track record of successfully scaling teams, managing diverse operations and working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.
  5. Fluency in English and local language is a MUST.
  6. Willingness to travel and manage hotels/hostels across various locations.
