Job Title : CAD + Model Engineer

Department: Manufacturing Engineering

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in 3D modeling and design is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare 3D models as per project requirements with a high level of accuracy.
  2. Develop stage drawings necessary for CNC machine shop operations.
  3. Design and prepare models/drawings for jigs & fixtures.
  4. Support additional engineering activities assigned by the team leader.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, preferably in Oil & Gas (completion tools experience).
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting is essential.
  • A thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles is required.
  • Solid knowledge of designing fixtures for CNC machines (HMC, VMC, CNC) is expected.
  • Hands-on experience and strong understanding of CNC machining processes are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for technical documentation and reporting is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written & verbal) are critical.
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas industry standards will be an added advantage.
