Job Overview

As a Functional Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of the PTP PO to Pay product roadmap for Maersk. This role requires a deep understanding of transportation logistics, technology, and product management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets the evolving needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the implementation of the PTP PO to Pay product with support from functional teams, SAP, and engineering teams.
  2. Develop and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on the product integration plan and strategy, supporting the MVP construct to scale and ramp up project delivery across the organization.
  4. Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the warehousing and distribution product.
  5. Align the PTP PO to Pay product roadmap with overall business objectives and growth plans.
  6. Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks within business processes.
  7. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and document risks associated with operations, compliance, and financial reporting.
  8. Design and implement effective internal controls to mitigate identified risks.
  9. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of existing controls, recommending enhancements as needed.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies.
  11. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for the product or features and functionalities.
  12. Prioritize features that enhance efficiency, visibility, and overall performance of the PTP PO to Pay network.
  13. Assist in the development and maintenance of risk management policies and procedures.
  14. Communicate control requirements and expectations to relevant stakeholders.
  15. Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in PTP PO to Pay for automation, transparency, and controls.
  16. Define and execute testing plans to ensure the reliability and P2P functionality of the warehouses.
  17. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
  18. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  19. Develop and deliver product training and documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  20. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize the product.
  21. Drive continuous improvements on a system and process landscape to deliver a capable, stable, meaningful business process that supports the business agenda.
  22. Continuously scan external and internal environments to benchmark, adopt best practices, and generate transformation initiatives.
  23. Create visibility on IT and platform developments to all stakeholders with clear communication methods.
  24. Define key performance indicators and targets within system developments to monitor the success of implemented products to ensure value realization.
  25. Establish interlocking KPIs with cross-functional teams influencing automation and transformation.
  26. Translate needs from GIA/GRC audit findings into solutions to ensure compliance needs are always addressed.
Requirements
  1. Master's degree in business administration, computer science, finance, IT, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 8 plus years of experience as a functional Product Manager, change management, SAP S/4, Oracle cloud fusion, net suite (OCF/E1), Vroozi, and other ERPs and platforms.
  3. Proven experience in PTP PO to Pay processes, risks, automation, control, and governance.
  4. Strong project management skills with a focus on process improvement.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Familiarity with ERP systems and PTP platforms.
  7. Additional certification in procurement, PTP, or supply chain management is a plus.
  8. Ability to analyze and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
  9. Strong understanding of Oracle, SAP/S4 functionality and configuration (preferable).
  10. Experience within warehousing, logistics, and services domain industries shall be a plus.
  11. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  12. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Operational experience beneficial, in either executional or management capacity.
