Production Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. This is a challenging role that requires strong organizational and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating closely with vendors to ensure timely production, shipping, and delivery of garments while maintaining quality standards.

They will also monitor and address any quality issues or deviations throughout the production process, implementing corrective actions in conjunction with our internal QA team as necessary.

This role involves identifying and onboarding potential contract manufacturing partners capable of producing women's ethnic wear garments in line with our brand standards and requirements.

Cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to foster long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and mutual benefit is also essential.

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience managing contract manufacturing vendors, a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or related field, and strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.

Solid project management and ability to handle multiple priorities is also required, as well as knowledge of garment production, quality standards, and supply chain.

Leadership skills with team and cross-functional management, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cost Optimization and Budget Management:
  • Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or brand integrity.
  • Develop and manage sourcing budgets effectively, monitoring expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Production Coordination & Fulfillment:
  • Coordinate closely with vendors to ensure timely production, shipping, and delivery of garments while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure high on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery rates.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Coordinate closely with the internal QA team to conduct regular product review meetings, Inline, midline, and final inspections.
  • Monitor and address any quality issues or deviations throughout the production process, implementing corrective actions in conjunction with the internal QA team as necessary.
Supplier Onboarding & Relationship Management:
  • Identify and onboard potential contract manufacturing partners capable of producing women's ethnic wear garments in line with brand standards and requirements.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to foster long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and mutual benefit.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualification & Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience managing contract manufacturing vendors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
  • Solid project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
