Hardware Design Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a Hardware Design Manager to lead our hardware design function, ensuring the successful development of high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective hardware solutions for air conditioning products.

The ideal candidate will define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware design, aligning with business objectives and market requirements.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing PCBs, BOMs, and ensuring EMI/EMC compliance, protection circuitry, and thermal management in hardware design.

They will also work closely with firmware teams to define hardware-software interfaces, perform system-level debugging during development and field issues.

This role requires strong knowledge of power electronics, schematic capture, PCB design tools, and hardware simulation.

Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and reliability testing is also essential.

The selected candidate should have excellent leadership and technical expertise in electronic hardware design.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Define the overall hardware design vision and strategy
  2. Design and review PCBs and BOMs
  3. Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, protection circuitry, and thermal management
  4. Work with firmware teams on hardware-software interfaces and system-level debugging

Key Skills:

Requirements:

  1. 15 years to 18 years of experience in hardware design
  2. B.E/B.Tech Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation degree
