Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new development project that will have a significant impact on the organization as a whole. The successful candidate will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the highest standards of quality are met.

Responsibilities:
  • The role will involve starting in manual testing, including functional, regression, UAT, exploratory and database validation. The aim is to create a comprehensive QA process, procedures, test approach driving and defining, introducing, enforcing and owning the QA process.
  • Once the test automation framework is established, the engineer will focus on Selenium and Java-based automation testing, writing acceptance criteria and holding dev teams to those standards. They will also work on database querying across multiple query languages such as SQL and BigQuery.

Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of testing experience in both manual and automation environments
  • Experience with functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, negative and database validation
  • Experience with the following tech stack: Big Query, SQL, Java and Selenium
  • Experience writing test approaches and acceptance criteria in Gherkin
  • Experience implementing quality control and assessing its effectiveness after implementation

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with ServiceNow and GPC
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline deployments
  • Experience with Groovy for test automation

Work Environment:
The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with onsite presence required three times a week.
