Job Title: E-commerce Quality Assurance Specialist

Our company is seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows, such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer who can work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications and business requirements, designing and executing test cases for web and mobile platforms, and performing regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems
