Job Opportunity

Seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Internal Control Specialist.

  • Conduct thorough on-site reviews to ensure timely implementation of internal control processes and effective corrective actions.
  • Pursue special projects aimed at streamlining business processes, strengthening internal controls, and reducing inefficiencies.
  • Assess all areas of operational risk and implement robust risk management strategies across functional departments.
  • Coordinate completion of mandatory reporting requirements, including quarterly attestation and semi-annual balance sheet reviews.
  • Share best practices within the APO region.
  • Support operational and financial audits by assisting in preparation, liaising with auditors, responding to auditor inquiries, and addressing audit findings.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control roles, preferably in a Big 4 environment.
  • Proven track record of working in a manufacturing setting with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to conduct process audits and month-end close reviews independently.
  • Exceptional knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be adaptable and able to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills, particularly in high-pressure environments.
  • Track record of taking on additional responsibilities and demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
