We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that meet the needs of our farmers.

As a UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to develop intuitive and accessible interfaces that drive adoption and retention. Your designs should prioritize simplicity, trust, and impact, while also ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and local regulations.

You will conduct end-to-end user research, including interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing, to gain a deep understanding of our farmers' needs and preferences. Your findings will inform your design decisions, ensuring that our products are tailored to meet the unique needs of our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user-centered design strategies and quarterly UX roadmaps aligned to business and product goals
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro
  • Define and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency
  • Partner with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria
  • Conduct end-to-end user research, including interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing
  • Translate feedback into actionable design improvements, balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility
  • Champion UX for rural contexts, vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues

Experience:

  • 5–8 years in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale
  • Proven experience shipping rural customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact
  • Hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing with diverse user groups

Core Skills:

  • Expertise in Figma / Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
  • Strong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
  • User research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterative design practices
  • Familiarity with design for low-bandwidth, multilingual, and offline-first contexts
  • Ability to create design systems and scalable UI libraries
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and awareness of front-end engineering constraints
