Bell Captain Job Description

The Bell Captain is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience at our hotel. This includes:

  • Baggage Handling
    • Ensuring that all arrival and departure baggage is handled promptly and efficiently.
    • Delegating bell boys to pick up baggage from guest rooms.
  • Guest Services
    • Providing exceptional guest service, including greeting guests warmly and professionally.
    • Assisting guests with their luggage and providing information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Inventory Management
    • Checking the inventory of items on loan and collecting all items at the time of check-out.
  • Communication
    • Communicating special guest requests to the Assistant Front Office Manager/Manager on Duty.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of hotel fire procedures and hotel security procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position. The Bell Captain will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
