Job Overview

  • We are seeking a Mechanical Incharge to lead our wind project execution team in India.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing daily site activities based on MS Project and POD.
  • Additionally, they will manage crane planning, mobilization, and heavy material movement.
  • They will also supervise WTG installation activities, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in allocating work to contractors and engineers; monitoring labor, tools, and equipment.
  • They will conduct site inspections and verify material readiness, safety, and compliance.
  • The Mechanical Incharge will ensure proper execution of internal line works and survey-based layouts.
  • They will coordinate contractor attendance, skill card verification, and toolbox talks.
  • Furthermore, they will support customer inspections and ensure timely sign-off of milestones (WCC).
  • The selected candidate will resolve execution and commissioning queries through cross-functional coordination.

Mechanical & Technical Expertise

  • The Mechanical Incharge will approve crane movement routes and ensure lift planning is in place.
  • They will validate the fitness of lifting tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • The role requires the establishment and operation of site repair facilities.
