About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in our General Insurance business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and enhance brand reputation. They will lead a team of insurance professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they meet their targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and execute sales strategies that achieve or exceed revenue targets
- To manage a team of insurance producers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- To maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, agents, and distributors
- To analyze market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced insurance professional who has a proven track record of success in business development and sales leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or finance
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in insurance sales or sales leadership
- Strong knowledge of general insurance products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
