Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lead Transport Strategist to develop and implement transportation strategies that enhance mobility, accessibility, and sustainability.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in transport planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement. They will work closely with local authorities, community groups, and government agencies to develop comprehensive transport plans that align with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation strategies that prioritize mobility, accessibility, and sustainability.
  • Conduct data analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Assess current transportation systems and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transport projects and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in transport planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation policies, regulations, and planning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools such as ArcGIS.
Tools and Technologies
  • Proficiency in transport modeling software such as VISUM, VISSIM, Junctions 10, and Linsig.
  • Experience with programming skills like Python, R.
  • Knowledge of project management software and methodologies.
