Job Title

Team Lead-Intercompany Accounting Position

This is a critical role that oversees and manages a team of 3-4 members, handling end-to-end IC processes, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

  • The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing month-end activities, managing intercompany transactions, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
  • They will also handle queries from Audit and Tax teams from time to time and provide solution to multiple stakeholders on adhoc and regular queries.
  • In addition, they will establish effective communication between the team and the stakeholders, process improvisation, and strategizing plans to achieve team goals in a timely manner.
  • The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures, experience in handling Inter company accounting / IC ledger reviews / reconciliations etc., and month end close experience.
  • They should also possess excellent excel skills, ability to communicate strongly and influence, flexibility, and good team leader.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA – 8+ years of work experience in Finance Controllership / Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience in handling Inter company accounting / IC ledger reviews / reconciliations etc.
  • Month end close experience required
  • Transformation projects experience will be an added advantage
  • Team handling experience required
  • End to end process knowledge of intercompany process
  • Experience in handling multiple stakeholders from different global regions
