Transform Lives with Compassionate Mental Health Support

As a skilled and experienced Mental Health Counsellor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on society by delivering compassionate mental health support and empowering individuals to recognize, prevent, and overcome challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver Therapy Sessions: Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship challenges.
  2. Create Treatment Plans: Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique goals, needs, and cultural background.
  3. Equip Clients with Coping Strategies: Teach clients practical coping strategies and resources to support their emotional resilience, self-awareness, and overall mental wellness.
  4. Stay Current with Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging research, trends, and best practices in psychotherapy. Engage in ongoing professional development, supervision, and training opportunities.
  5. Ensure Confidentiality: Adhere to organisational policies, legal regulations, and ethical guidelines in all counselling practices. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in every client interaction.
  6. Maintain Client Records: Keep thorough and up-to-date client records, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome evaluations in accordance with privacy and data protection standards.
  7. Participate in Outreach Initiatives: Participate in outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health, trauma, and abuse prevention. Advocate for inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive mental health care.
Requirements:
  1. 6-8 Years of Experience: 6–8 years of post-graduate experience providing direct counselling services, with demonstrated ability to manage diverse client caseloads.
  2. Master's Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a related field is preferred.
  3. Therapeutic Approaches: Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-Based Therapies, and Trauma-Informed Care is essential.
  4. Experience in Multiple Therapies: Experience in at least two types of therapy (individual, family, child, or couple) is highly desirable.
  5. Collaborative Environment: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment is crucial.
  6. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, time management, and documentation practices are required.
  7. Professional Ethics: Commitment to professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality is essential.
  8. Flexible Schedule: Flexibility to work in the afternoon shift is necessary.
