Mathematical Researcher - Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking freelance researchers to assist in fine-tuning and evaluating large language models (LLMs) for mathematical tasks.

  • This is an opportunity to work on a research-focused initiative that will help LLMs improve their ability to understand and solve complex math problems.
Role Overview:

As a contributor to this project, you will be responsible for completing a variety of mathematical tasks designed to find model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows.

The tasks may include determining the number of real symmetric matrices of rank 2, finding subsets of a set with specific properties, or counting distinct numbers with certain characteristics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong academic background in mathematics or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve advanced math problems.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Research independence and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
