Logistics Operations Specialist

This role is pivotal in the operation of our department, requiring a skilled professional to execute weekly ordering, analyze demand and forecast data, and identify exceptions or outliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation of Purchase Orders for Replenishment and Non-replenishment orders
  • Execute PO management activities such as PO revisions, tracking the PO status, calling out exceptions and reporting progress updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Manage surveys for Supply Chain Interruption events like factory shutdowns, vessel shortages, adverse weather, and other similar events
  • Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and update them regularly
  • Take ownership of document maintenance and disposal
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives, collaborating with technology and product teams during design workshops, testing solutions, and implementation
  • Provide support to internal customers by reviewing project requests and plans, analyzing data, driving solutions to business problems and inventory processes, providing feedback on operations, and making recommendations for system changes and overall process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field OR 2 years' experience in business management, merchandising, Supply Chain in Retail, CPG, or similar industry
  • Master's degree in Business Management preferred
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills desired
