Job Opportunity:
  • We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Engineer - Cast House Services. In this position, you will operate and maintain casting equipment and machinery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the casting process.
  • Key responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting process parameters to optimize casting operations, including temperature, flow, and pressure settings. This will enable the achievement of desired material quality and minimization of defects.
  • The ideal candidate will conduct regular sampling and testing of metal and alloys to verify chemical compositions, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Implementation of best practices in handling molten metal is crucial, including safe pouring, cooling, and mold management techniques. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is also essential to enhance casting methods, minimize waste, and improve overall productivity in line with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Documentation of operational data, process deviations, and corrective actions will facilitate continuous improvement and audit compliance. Additionally, the selected individual will assist in training junior technicians and new hires on casting processes, safety protocols, and equipment handling procedures.
