Lead Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lead Cybersecurity Specialist to lead security assessments and uncover vulnerabilities in our digital environments. This role involves leading security assessments, simulating real-world attacks, and guiding remediation efforts.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive penetration test plans and reporting workflows.
  • Simulate real-world attacks using manual and automated techniques to uncover security flaws.

This is a remote-first role with minimal travel (once per month) to our office/client location. You'll be working closely with security architects, DevOps, and IT teams to identify weaknesses and guide remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to fix discovered vulnerabilities.
  2. Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments on new systems and architectures.
  3. Mentor and guide junior penetration testers and security analysts.
  4. Stay updated on the latest threat vectors, exploits, and cybersecurity trends.
Requirements:
  1. 6+ years of experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking.
  2. Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST standards, and CVSS scoring.
  3. Proficiency in tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
