Senior Test Engineer Job Description

As a senior test engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products.

The job involves designing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate compliance with regulatory requirements and functional specifications. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement automation frameworks, and drive high-quality releases while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate closely with developers, services, stakeholders, and regulatory teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration. Additionally, you will perform defect tracking and reporting using industry-standard tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex applications
  • Developing and maintaining automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cypress)
  • Performing risk-based testing and ensuring validation of GxP systems
  • Leading test strategy and defect management, working closely with development teams
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines for test automation and integration

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, analytical expertise with meticulous attention to detail, and conflict resolution skills. Experience in Agile Testing, Testing Lifecycle knowledge, and Scrum Methodologies is highly desirable.
