The role of a Software Development Engineer is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative products and tools that help Account Managers (AMs) in their daily activities. AMs are responsible for onboarding sellers into Amazon and helping them grow their business worldwide.

About the Job

In this role, you will be part of a team of software engineers building AM tools and transformative solutions powered by cloud computing and generative AI. You will work closely with Product Managers and AMs worldwide to create and execute a roadmap of compelling user experiences. A closer partnership with other engineering teams and applied science teams will be critical.

Responsibilities

">
  • Design and develop new and existing systems with a focus on reliability and scalability">
  • Work on various products ranging from AI Assistants that automate workflows for AMs to billing solutions and task management">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver agentic AI solutions">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in generative AI and incorporate new techniques into your work">

Requirements

">
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience">
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling)">
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language">
  • Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations">
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent">
  • Experience building generative AI and agentic AI solutions in a dynamic fast-paced environment">
