System Architect Lead

We are looking for a skilled and experienced System Architect Lead to join our team. As a technical leader, you will design, develop, and operate the foundational backend services that form the backbone of our AI platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create and implement complex distributed systems that meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews. Drive best practices in system design and raise the bar for the team.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of complex technical projects from conception to deployment. Deliver pragmatic, robust solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++). Experience with or interest in TypeScript is a plus.
  • Experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, Postgres).
