Job Overview:

This role primarily focuses on reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies, as well as providing support for a wide range of legal matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and other departments to safeguard the company's legal interests and maintain required compliance standards.

We are seeking an experienced Legal Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract laws and commercial agreements, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review & Drafting: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
  • Compliance Support: Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Legal Research & Advisory: Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
  • General Legal Support: Assist in corporate governance matters, including board meeting minutes and regulatory filings, and support the legal team with dispute resolution, litigation, and other legal matters as required.

Requirements:

  • LLB or equivalent degree.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house experience.
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving skills and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
