Job Title: Senior Associate Finance-R&D

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Finance professional to join our R&D Finance team, reporting directly to the Director of Consolidation.

  • About the Role:
  • This is a vital position that will assist in planning, quarter close, and consolidation activities.
  • You will be expected to support and guide other senior finance associates, as well as expand centralization, automation, and standardization practices within the team.
Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Support functional and consolidation teams in R&D Finance by conducting variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Provide forecasting for certain planning accounts.
  • Master Data Management:
  • Manage and update financial master data across all systems.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate cost centers and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for precise project tracking and financial reporting.
  • Process Support:
  • Provide functional support for specific processes like FSP reporting for BARDA, GMIP, and Milestones planning.
  • Support product coding processes and recovery methods to improve financial accuracy.
  • Staff & Project Support:
  • Maintain relevant data to provide headcount and staffing support.
  • Assist in workforce planning.
  • Manage ad-hoc financial requests that are not time-sensitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree with relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience.
  • Solid technical finance knowledge and skills (accounting, planning, modeling, etc.).
  • Demonstrable experience in financial planning processes and quarter-close activities.
