About the Role

This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining a world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a standard operating procedure (SOP) for manufacturing processes across all plants.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new support materials based on revised processes, including training programs, reporting tools, and systems enhancements.

  • Analyze project risks and proactively identify potential problems and solutions.

  • Evaluate business impact and project objectives/dependencies at all times.

  • Lead the development and implementation of programs, deliver coaching, and run projects across plants.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and suggest improvements for future projects.

  • Monitor and continuously improve efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites.

  • Implement lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.

  • Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery.

  • Support plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs.

  • Design, develop, and implement policy deployment within the organization.

  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.

  • Ensure ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.

  • Coach and facilitate teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
