Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Specialist on the Music Client Quality team at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in automation scripting and debugging. You will be responsible for writing high-quality test cases, reproducing product defects, and working closely with developers to identify and resolve issues.

You will also have the opportunity to work on feature development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

This is a highly charged work environment, and we are looking for a motivated individual who can thrive in this setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debugging, troubleshoot, and maintain automation scripts by fixing stability issues.
  • Write test cases for new features, modifying and maintaining existing test cases.
  • Understand and ramp up on QA procedures, guidelines, and policies for newly launched features and apply them.
  • Use software tools for QA, fix up, and data capture on a daily basis.
  • Be proactive in identifying issues, deep diving, troubleshooting, communicating to stakeholders, and escalating issues and providing status reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.E, B.Tech, BCA, MSC IT, or MCA degree.
  • 1+ years of quality assurance experience in a technology industry or equivalent field.
  • Basic scripting knowledge and ability to create simple automation test scripts.
  • Able to debug, troubleshoot, and gather information required to reproduce product and automation bugs/failures.
  • Can execute and maintain black box test cases using SOPs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with internal and external team members effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Testing experience with Android, iOS, or both.
  • Reporting skills, proficient in creating status reports based on automation results.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Automation experience.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
