About the Role

We're seeking a forward-thinking Technical Artist who can drive experimentation, custom rendering, and procedural creativity in MR.

This role is about discovering new ways to create immersive experiences through collaboration, innovation, and artistry.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and prototype new visuals, effects, and rendering methods for MR
  • Develop custom shaders (GLSL, HLSL, OSL, Shader Graph, etc.)
  • Script and automate workflows in Blender, Maya, Houdini, or similar DCCs
  • Apply expertise in 2D/3D rendering concepts – lighting, materials, post-effects
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to bring ideas to life across MR devices
  • Explore the visual language of MR – invent new aesthetics and interaction paradigms
Requirements:
  • 2–5+ years as a Technical Artist, Shader Artist, or Visual R&D Specialist
  • Strong grasp of real-time and offline rendering fundamentals
  • Proficient in scripting inside Blender (Python), Maya (MEL/Python), Houdini(VEX/HScript), or similar
  • Ability to write and debug custom shaders
  • A creative technologist mindset – experimental, curious, cross-disciplinary
  • Deep interest in Mixed Reality, spatial design, or immersive visuals
