Research & Development Engineer Position Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned Research and Development Engineer to join our organization in a key role that involves applying knowledge of medical device regulations, executing gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation activities.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers to resolve technical queries, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery, and preparing 2D/3D drawings/models for assemblies and components in compliance with ASME standards.
  • This position requires strong communication skills to drive collaboration, technical reviews, and achieve project goals. The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, taking the initiative to determine and develop effective solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in creating production drawing using GD&T, tol-stack up studies for dimensional analysis, concept development, and prototyping.
  • They will also be proficient in Creo and Solid Works (drafting and modeling) with hands-on experience in PLM/PDM preferably Windchill.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 6-8 years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency in MS Powerpoint, Excel for reports preparation, data analysis/advance operations is also necessary.
