We are seeking a skilled software engineer who loves building robust, production-grade systems. This role requires someone who enjoys architecting APIs, thinking end-to-end about reliability and scale, and shipping features that real users love.

Job Description:
  • Design and implement scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices to drive core flows (vet bookings, pet marketplace, orders, payments) with high performance.
  • Build data models and database schemas optimized for performance and operational simplicity using Postgres / Mongo.
  • Implement robust authentication, authorization, payments integrations, audit trails, and secure data handling for medical/health data.
  • Design and operate data ingestion pipelines for telemetry data ensuring durability and near-real-time processing.
  • Implement caching, queueing, and backpressure strategies to keep the system performant under load.
  • Ship observability and create runbooks for common operational scenarios.
Requirements:
  • 2–4 years of experience building production backend systems with Node.js (TypeScript).
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB: schema design, indexing, query optimization.
  • Practical knowledge of caching and message queues.
  • Cloud experience deploying services, setting up infrastructure, and managing costs.
  • Familiarity with Docker and orchestration concepts.
  • Practical understanding of security best practices.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with IoT ingestion pipelines and time-series data.
  • Experience building marketplace platforms or health-tech systems.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL or event sourcing patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tooling.
