Technical Lead, Distributed Systems

We are seeking an experienced technical lead to architect and build the core distributed systems that form the backbone of our mission.

  • Architect and Build: Design, develop, and operate foundational backend services that meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews. Drive best practices in system design and raise the bar for the team.
  • Accountability and Impact: Take ownership of complex projects from conception to deployment, delivering pragmatic and robust solutions.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Tackle challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++) and experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure.
